Our lab focuses on how we learn language, and why language learning might be different in neurodivergent children. Most recently, we have been studying how being motivated modulates language learning. We want to use this knowledge to improve our understanding of childhood speech and language needs, as well as improve clinical and educational tools and practice.
In our research, we use behavioural paradigms implemented online and in the lab, as well as structural and functional magnetic resonance imaging.
