AMS Springboard Award

Dr. Saloni Krishnan is one of this year’s AMS Springboard Awardees. This prestigious grant from the Academy of Medical Sciences provides £100,000 of funding over two years, and a personalised package of career support to independent biomedical researchers to help them launch their research careers.

With the support of this grant, Saloni will be investigating the neural and cognitive basis of motivation in individuals with reading disorder. Collaborators on the project include Dr. Pablo Ripollés (NYU), Dr. Matt Apps (Birmingham), and Dr. Jessie Ricketts (RHUL). This project will start in September 2021.

This funding allows us to hire a new lab member, so do get in touch if you’re looking for a role in this space!
