Cambridge Language Sciences

Saloni was delighted to be invited to speak at the Cambridge Language Sciences Annual symposium. She spoke about the role of reward in language learning, pointing to the role of both intrinsic and extrinsic reward as well as some of the lab’s new findings about how ability can influence the experience of reward. She was paired with Prof. Jean Marc Dewaele, and Saloni was struck by some of the similarities in the take away messages despite the differences in methods.

Saloni also enjoyed the talks and posters through the day, as well as the questions after the talk.

The organisers have made talks openly available on Cambridge Open Engage
