New paper in npj Science of Learning!

We are delighted that Amrita has just had her first paper accepted at npj Science of Learning. This called for a celebration!

We have been interested in situational influences of text or social context on motivation to read. Yet, existing reading motivation questionnaires are trait-based and not well suited to capturing dynamic factors. Amrita has developed a new paradigm to measure situational enjoyment during reading. Using this paradigm, we find reading enjoyment is associated with further decision-making about the text and with reading comprehension.
