We were very excited to present our work on various facets of #dyslexia at BDA24 in Surrey.
Nilgoun Bahar gave a talk on her new work that uses MRI to show that better readers find reading more intrinsically rewarding.
Hannah Jones presented work from her award-winning undergraduate project on intrinsic motivation in dyslexic readers, which she is now writing up for publication.
Holly Coates McDowall presented her work on using cognitive reappraisal to reduce anxiety in university students with dyslexia. Holly is writing this project up for publication at Mind, Brain and Education.
We received really useful feedback from attendees and are grateful for the stimulating conversations with researchers and practitioners.
